Bikers With Big Hearts
Rose+Krieger's own Tuck Koontz and friends have be
featured in the December issue of "In the Wind" magazine
as a result of their efforts to organize and support the
6th Annual Millie Run on November 10, 2007.
The Millie Run is open to anyone with a love for
motorcycle riding and adventure. Sign up is at the New
Delmar Inn (route 40 West, Hagerstown, Maryland). Before
departure each rider will be given directions to their
next checkpoint. The Millie Run is held in honor of
Washington County ABATE members who have lost their
lives. This is not an ABATE of Maryland, Inc. sponsored
function.
All proceeds from this even will go to benefit the 23rd
Annual San Mar Christmas Party Gift Fund, San Mar
Children's Home. Boonsboro, Maryland. San Mar is a safe
place for adolescent girls who have experienced the
traumas of abuse or neglect. In addition to four group
homes, San Mar operates a treatment foster care and
adoption program for girls and boys who are medically
fragile, or who have behavioral problems. |
